About Naslund Medical

Naslund Medical AB is an international medical technology group with its parent company in Sweden. The company develops and sells Gold Anchor – a cancer marker used in cancer treatment to clearly position tumor areas ahead of imaging and radiotherapy. The product is designed to improve precision in treatment planning and contribute to safer, more targeted cancer care.

The group consists of seven companies, four of which are now fully operational in Odoo – with operations in Sweden, the USA, England and France.

Challenge: Excel-driven operations in a complex international group

Before the Odoo implementation, most of Naslund Medical's operations were managed in spreadsheets. Manufacturing, purchasing, sales and logistics were all in Excel. Only CRM and accounting were in a separate ERP system. This created three clear problems:

• A high manual workload with an increased risk of errors
• A lack of overview of processes spanning four countries and several companies
• Poor scalability – administrative costs grew along with the business

Naslund Medical was looking for an ERP system that was user-friendly, scalable and suited to an international group of their size. After talking to several Odoo partners, they chose UCS OneDo as their implementation partner in Sweden.

Solution: a group-wide Odoo implementation in Sweden and internationally

As a certified Odoo partner in Sweden, UCS OneDo carried out a complete Odoo implementation for the Naslund Medical group. The project was delivered on a tight schedule and with high complexity – with companies in four countries and a requirement for simultaneous go-live.

The Odoo implementation includes the following modules:

Outsourced finance and payroll – UCS One Business as a complete solution

In addition to the Odoo implementation, Naslund Medical has chosen to outsource its finance and payroll function to UCS One Business – a sister company of UCS OneDo within UCS Group. The payroll system Flex runs in parallel with Odoo and handles, among other things:
